What to measure before you compare kits
The model name is a label. The assessment uses measurements, because two years of the same name can hide a different axle.

The fields that block a result
- Wheel size, from the tyre. 700c and 29 inch are not the same claim even when the rim is related.
- Brake: disc or rim. A hub motor is built as one of those.
- Rear spacing. 135 mm quick release is not 142 mm thru-axle. An adapter is a different configuration.
- Front spacing, if you are looking at a front hub. And the fork material.
- Bottom bracket: BSA 68, BSA 73, or press-fit, if you are looking at a mid-drive.
- Derailleur, single speed, or internal gear hub.
- Where a battery could actually sit.
If a critical field is empty, the result stays 'information needed'. That is deliberate. A guessed axle would look like a match and would be a worse product.

Shops are named on the configuration. Specification research is not labelled as a hands-on test.
