What a conversion kit actually includes

A motor wheel and a complete system are not the same product. The page should say which one you are looking at.

A listing can be a motor only, a motor and controller, or a configuration with a named battery and charger. Those are different purchases. ConvoKits keeps them as different configurations so a low price is not mistaken for a finished conversion.

Ask the record, not the headline

  • Is a battery included, and is the model named?
  • Is the charger named, or merely 'a charger'?
  • Which wheel, axle and brake standard is this exact configuration?
  • Is a torque arm included, required, or unmentioned?
  • Is this the GB assistance setup, or a throttle / export variant?
Unknown stays unknown. A similar kit is not a source for the blank fields.

Shops are named on the configuration. Specification research is not labelled as a hands-on test.
