The brief a workshop can actually use
A screenshot of a family name is not a job. Measurements and the exact configuration are.

Send the kit page, not the brand. Then send the bicycle as numbers: wheel size, brake, axle or shell, fork material, gear type, and where a pack could sit. Say what is already wrong with the bike. A workshop that quotes a conversion on top of a dead brake is guessing.
A complete brief
- Configuration name and the price you are working from.
- Whether the pack and charger are in that price.
- Photos of both dropouts, the shell, and the space you hope to mount a pack.
- Your country, because the controller class matters.
- The date you need it, separate from the date you hope.
Ask the quote to split labour, the kit, the pack, and any bicycle repair. An inspection fee that you pay even if you walk away is a normal line. Insurance and the battery policy belong on the workshop’s own page. ConvoKits lists suppliers by city and the systems they handle. It does not invent a street address to make a pin look precise.
Figures are the ones published on the kit page. Specification research is not labelled as a hands-on test.
